How to wear a romper

RomperFashion Trends & Styles - Polyvore

I feel like babies are who wear rompers and I feel like jumpers are sooooooooooo high school. In fact, I have a scandalous high school pic taken at Sovereign Centre, a brand spanking new (back then) mall that all the hip teenagers used to hang out at. I was in blond patra braids, a jean jumper and "matey" tramplers (points if you know what those are) with thick ass black liner on my lips. LORD hammercy! A hot ass mess! LMAO but those were the good old days.

Rompers have come full circle and I actually have one in my wardrobe now with my eye on a few others. Why? They're soooooooo comfortable and roomy and cool and just refreshing. You can dress it up or dress it down as you wish and what's my favourite theme recently? Its one piece!!! No worrying about how to match up, just "accessorize" and GO! Its perfect for a beach party, or for an all day event in this hella hot weather where you don't want to be bothered about itchy jeans or too tight tops or just being comfortable all around. Torrid is actually having a sale which is music to ANY big girl's ears cause they're stuff is so cute and there's quite a few rompers in the mix. 50% off Clearance Sale at Torrid.com! Up to 80% off Regular Price! Available until July 5th, 2010 Yah, off clearance. I love a sale that don't play.

Black and White Ikat Print Romper

One for the club

Black and Blue Floral Print Romper

One for running around behind the kiddies on the weekend.

Hot-Pink Embroidered-Hem Smocked Tube Romper

One for the beach? Wherever you wear them, its guaranteed comfort. Dont you love them?

EDIT: Longer versions are referred to as jumpsuits, i'm down for any version of the two....maybe this one suits some better than others. I know not everyone loves shorts. Asos has a full range of jumpsuits here, i'm sure you're bound to find at least one you like... don't knock 'em till you try 'em!

  3. Ummm....I don't really like them. Casual ones look like pyjamas and the dressed up ones look odd. Plus my body type would not be flattered. But to each their own...
