Shoes that make him go...

Shut the door! Every girl got a pair of f*ck me pumps and hooker heels right? Right. You slip those bad boys on and you feel like superwoman, ready to take over the world. Your walk is different, your swag is different, its on and poppin... and if he's around when you slip them on...he might just tell you to shut the door...

This sparkly number was surprisingly my last pair.  A quick, last minute purchase to complete an outfit without going boring black. Unfortunately, they're turning out to be a one time wear since I lost the strap for the right foot...yeah...don't ask.

New Year's Eve's Outfit

I've had this dress hanging in my closet maybe about 6 months now. I keep saying I'll where it, then I try it on and think naaa...lemme go with something else. Well when I put it on finally on NYE, it was time. I went out to get sparkly shoes to wear with it because I kept thinking it wasn't snazzy enough for NYE. But it sure was sexy enough...

Trends this Christmas - Animal Print

Last night was my office party and I decided to rock animal print since its trending this season. I knew it was a risk because the theme of the party was silver and black and when you go with trends, the chances are greater that someone will be in the same thing as you. Narrow it further with a theme and you're asking for trouble. But I found this dress online and I fell in love with it and decided to rock it anyway.

Allow me to be a bad fashion blogger as I really don't know the story behind this line. Mommy duties were in full force last night when the Belle launch was happening. Its another line by Tami Chynn and Lubica, but I can't tell you how it differs from Anuna since I missed the launch. However I came across a pic that is inspiring me to go check out the line. Its coming close to the birthday and so I may not be able to shop online and ship and risk it not getting here in time. I'm really going to have to find something in Jamaica to wear. Remember, I bought blue shoes to wear. I think it may go well with this dress:

November to remember, KRW style

So I already have semi birthday plans in place. What to do with the rest of November? Kingston Restaurant Week of course! I'm sure the rest of Jamaica is not too enthused by this name BTW but moving right along...

I haven't been to many KRW experiences...the limited menus and the crowd doesn't really appeal to me. But there are some restaurants that you you want to try out before going there and spending big money and so this is the perfect opportunity I guess...

What to wear with my pretty blue shoes

So I finally have my perfect pair of blue suede shoes that I have been craving! unfortunately they're not the ones from my last post. I still think those are the bomb.com however I am mucho happy with the ones I have.

With that said...what to wear with them? I have so many ideas of course but lets spoil the pot! I want to hear yours!

Birthday Plans

I like how my birthday plans just randomly came together on twitter at a moments notice. I was watching the trailer for Burlesque and it said the magical words "Opens Nov 24th" Sold! LOL


When I first saw it I thought it was gonna be a Showgirls remake. Anyone remember that movie with Jessi (I think) from Saved by the Bell? I was obviously waaaaaaaay too young to watch that movie when it just came out. I felt dirty lol.

Guess is one of my top 5 favourite shoe brands with Carlos Santana, Jessica Simpson, and Steve Madden also in the mix. Loubous round out the top 5 but I'm not quite there yet.

Something I love about myself.

I feel like I've already written about this and writing about myself is not my most favourite thing to do. I do want to take a minute to reinforce my positive nature tho.

When you run a personal blog there will always be those people who wait with bated breath for your next post so that they can "faas" in your business and take shots at you.

What would I do if I got pregnant

Well. Last time I got pregnant I was pretty happy. So was my partner. He was elated lol. I wasn't too pleased with the morning sickness.

What would I do if I got pregnant again? I would order him home. And just like that he'd pack up and be home. I'm sure of it. Why? Because last time I was pregnant I went thru much of it without him by my side and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. You neeeeeeed someone to be at your beck and call when you're pregnant. I told him I would never go thru it alone again and he promised me I wouldn't have to. And I won't. If his ass can't come home I'm putting myself on a plane.

I just remembered that I haven't blogged about muchkins birth story here. I still remember it vividly. I'll do that soon.

The next one will be planned. I am extra careful this time around teehee. The next one will come when he's home and settled and we share the same last name. Not before. Or till Will Smith decides he's tired of Jada and wants a spicy Jamaican baby, whichever comes first :)

Don't tell me they don't look comfortable. I keep preaching the value of a platform. They make the most painful looking heels the most comfortable. Watch out for those with high heel and no platforms, those are the killers. I'm thru buying uncomfortable shoes, the choices are just too many to go thru all that pain! Its just not worth it. I remember the last time standing in Bakers trying on an absolutely delicious pair of heels that I knew I couldn't stand in all night, maybe not even walk from the parking lot to the club in. I was so proud of myself for leaving them there...even though now every time I see them I kick myself a little and curse at them with sour grape syndrome.

Hmmmmm

Anyway, I think I'll get these. I like them. And a certain someone has turned me onto amazon online shopping. I just can't get enough.

You know what I hate?

My belly. But it won't be around much longer so its not enough to get me down. Hey I have my faults but I love them all. They make me...me! And I don't dwell on them. I am not a party pooper, negative, miserable kinda girl. Whatever about me that irks me...I am reassured that me and myself are working hard at it.

You know what someone said to me the other day? "You look so happy these days...you're glowing!"

And I said "thank you" wit a big cheesy ol grin on my face.

New job, new home, new family...the fact is that life is pretty good right now and I, never been a debbie downer in the first place, can't help but be radiant. Its a journey and it feels good whenever there's forward movement. I'm no where near the destination but I can feel the wheels turning and I'm happy with that. I'm not looking at the mistakes, I'm not looking at the past or the "haters" that stuff is for rappers and fakers...I'm living my life like its golden! Jill Scott ain't got nutten on me! ;)

I have a crush on...

Will Smith! I have had crushes on tons of celebrities but Will stays at the top of my list for many reasons. First? He's goofy!!!! Throwback to that episode where Nia called him goofy and he acted a fool trying to change her mind right? LMAO but seriously? If you can make a woman laugh you are half way in her panties already, Everybody knows that. Unless she's a prude. Will is handsome, he's smart, he's talented, he's sexy, he LOVES his wife and his kids and he's done this hollywood game right. He's got a good head on his shoulders and I love me some him.

By way of local crushes? I don't really have me any of those. As I told you in my day 1 post, Diva ain't shy. If I see something I like, I chop and well...anyway. Mind your business :P

I'ma leave Will alone tho because other than the fact that I really love me some Jada too...homegirl looks like she will cut a bish...homey don't play dat!

Side note...by now you realise my 30 day challenge will not be 30 consecutive days. Yeah I make my own rules roun' these here parts. Now that we're on the same page...day 6 post is supposed to be a song that makes me cry. I don't have any of those.

But there is one song that reminds me of the craziness that was my last relationship. The guy I was with before munchkins daddy was one whirlwind of a time.
